Monitoring Sender Reputation
Follow these methods to keep a close eye on your sending domain reputation.
1) Domain Reputation
Your goal is to always have a HIGH Domain Reputation in Google Postmaster Tools.
Use the free tools below to monitor your domain reputation.
Google Postmaster Tools - It enables email senders to evaluate the performance of their messages and ensure they reach the intended destination. It provides valuable insights and diagnostics, offering data on delivery issues, spam reports, and feedback loops to help optimize email delivery. Your domain reputation should be HIGH.
Sender Score - A sender score is a metric that measures the reputation of an email sender's domain and IP address. It's a number between 0 and 100, with higher scores indicating a more trustworthy sender. You want a Sender Score of 80+.
2) IP Reputation
The goal is to have a HIGH IP Reputation in Google Postmaster Tools. (If you're using a shared IP you don’t have full control of this).
Next week we’ll get into the darker side of monitoring blacklists.
